Early this summer, Disney introduced a new look for some of the Walt Disney World® Resort buses: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto hit the roadways.
More buses featuring characters from some of the most beloved Disney films have joined the fleet. Now you will be able to enjoy a ‘Hakuna Matata’ journey with Simba from Disney’s “The Lion King,” experience a whole lot of laughs with Mike and Sully from “Monsters, Inc.,” or see how far they’ll go with Moana – as these new designs full of character and fun hit the roads around Walt Disney World! These buses have new blue seats and laminate floors throughout. Some of the buses will also have USB charging ports conveniently located between seats, so you can re-charge your devices and not miss a moment of capturing and sharing your Disney vacation memories.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is already a must-do experience every fall at Magic Kingdom® Park, and it’s even more so this year with the debut of the incredible new “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular,” a new interactive treat trail at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor and attractions updated with new Halloween twists. There’s even more to look forward to with great additions to “Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade!” Presented twice nightly during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (Pro tip: catch the second run of the night for the best viewing options), the parade brings forth a cavalcade of fiendishly fun floats as each land of the Magic Kingdom comes together to celebrate Halloween. The parade opens with a flurry of favorite Disney friends, including Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in all-new Halloween costumes, as they trick-or-treat down Main Street, U.S.A. Representing Liberty Square, the Haunted Mansion unit features Hitchhiking Ghosts and a new addition, the spectral Bride, who glides among the waltzing spirits. A new Tomorrowland unit brings The Incredibles and designer extraordinaire Edna Mode to “Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade,” followed by Buzz Lightyear and Alien explorers discovering crystalline treasures on the surface of a planetary playset float.
Of course, no Halloween parade would be complete without candy. Wreck-It Ralph, Vanellope von Schweetz and the girls from Sugar Rush make sure there’s plenty of sweet stuff to go around! Pirates sail in from Adventureland, Clarabelle Cow hosts a square dance during a Frontierland hoedown, and a wicked assortment of Disney Villains reigns over a Fantasyland-inspired grand finale. Don't miss this fantastic Fall event going on Now at Walt Disney World!! Calling all Disney Foodies: Have you ever heard of Disney’s Kitchen Sink?! This yummy dessert is available at Beaches and Cream located in Disney's Beach Club Resort. It is served in a giant bowl that looks like a kitchen sink.
This dessert masterpiece starts with eight delicious scoops of ice cream – two vanilla, two chocolate, two strawberry, one mint chocolate chip, and one coffee. On top of the ice cream are two kinds of cupcakes, a brownie, a banana, a candy bar, and chocolate cookies with cream filling. Next comes the warm toppings – fudge, butterscotch, and peanut butter. Then chocolate syrup, marshmallow crème, strawberry topping and pineapple topping are layered on. Sprinkled in among all of the layers are sliced toasted almonds, dark and white chocolate shavings, chopped jellied orange slices, milk chocolate chip morsels and peanut butter chip morsels. And finally, this ice cream dream is topped off with whip cream, two kinds of sprinkles and cherries on top! Wow! The kid in me can’t wait to get back to WDW to order this famous Disney Dessert! Make sure that trying this dessert gets put on your family’s Disney Bucket List!! |
