What Makes Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Special?

HalloWishes Fireworks Show
HallowWishes is the unique fireworks show that takes place only on party nights.  Celebrate the hallowed season with a spider web of pyrotechnic effects and haunting melodies.  The Ghost Host from the Haunted Mansion invites you to "drop in" as Disney Villains light up the night with fireworks and a wicked version of melodies from Disney’s past that echo through the night - and creepy colors crawl over Cinderella Castle.  The “scare-abration” gets into full swing when some of the Disney Villains we most love to hate—including Maleficent, Ursula, Cruella de Vil, Jafar and Oogie Boogie - croon their scary tunes and do their best to steal the show.

Boo-To-You Parade
A Truly Spooktacular Procession, this parade is unique to MNSSHP. You can party with the grim grandmaster of this eerily awesome parade - he’s literally lost his head! The parade starts with a hair-raising ride by the Headless Horseman himself, followed by a collection of frightening floats featuring Disney Characters in Halloween costumes.  Only party guests can experience this Villainous Parade - and remember: it's really not so scary; just fiendish fun!

Villains take over Celebrate the Magic
The villains take over the stage at Cinderella’s Castle during the Celebrate the Magic show. Putting on a spectacularly spooky performance, villains entertain guests of all ages with singing, dancing, and all sorts of surprising magic.

Trick-or-treating
Trick-or-treat stations are set up throughout Magic Kingdom. Guests are allowed to go through each station and collect all kinds of yummy Halloween candy.

Unique Eats
All types of unique snacks and sweets are offered only during MNSSHP – from Jack Skellington cupcakes to Oogie Boogie popcorn containers, everyone is sure to find a perfectly spooky treat to enjoy!

Exclusive Merchandise
Merchandise offered exclusively during MNSSHP is available for purchase throughout Magic Kingdom.

Smaller Crowds = Shorter Lines
Because MNSSHP is a separately ticketed event, there are a limited number of guests allowed into Magic Kingdom on party nights.  Party goers get to take advantage of the lower crowds by riding all of the most popular rides.

Unique Character Meet-and-Greets
Meet characters that are rarely seen outside of MNSSHP! Jack Skellington, Cruella de Vil,  and the Seven Dwarfs are almost always available.

Exclusive PhotoPass Magic Shots
Wicked party-exclusive Magic Shots, Animated Magic Shots, and unique photo opportunities are available from Disney PhotoPass Service.  During parties, there are a number of festive props you can use in your photos at various locations around the park, a spirited photo opportunity inspired by the 1929 Silly Symphony “The Skeleton Dance”, and a lamp inspired by the Haunted Mansion cemetery watchman that you can include in your photos.

Everyone Can Wear a Costume
Come Dressed for the Occasion - whether spooky, kooky or classic Disney, be sure to wear your best Halloween costume!

Disney Costume Guidelines:
  • All Guests may dress as their favorite character, but may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests.
  • Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent.
  •  Costumes may not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
  • Costumes may not contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest.
For Guests ages 13 and under:
Costumes and some masks may be worn, as long as the mask does not cover the entire face and eyes are visible.

For Guests ages 14 and older:
Guests ages 14 and older are strongly discouraged from wearing layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body as they may be subject to additional security screening. Additionally, costumes may not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
